TomTesoro
I think we all agree Skyrim needs more Quest/Story mods like these. Its really a shame to see such good ideas and projects like these die, so please do try to give us an update more frequantly! For Skyrim (Story mods) !This one isn't dying any time soon. It's taking a life time to develop, but it is going to come out. I am a one man team working on this in my spare time, so... it's been challenging. Overall, if I had to pick a percentage done in total, I'd say we're about 60% there. I will try to keep this community updated more frequently. I've mainly been updating the BSF thread, and the one at The Assimilation Lab, where I'm hosted. I honestly forgot about this one, and I apologize for that. drewsbrew
This is a great idea, frankly I think all the factions in Skyrim could use something like this. What do you do after you'e at the head of the guild, what changes do you make, etc. In general I don't think Bethesda handles the completion of these side quests well... I especially don't like the fact that other members of the guild (you subordinates) give you 'assignments' and often don't recognize you as head of the guild. Skyim has the additional problem of these side quests being too short as well. In addition to lengthening all the quests for the guilds, I think there should be another set of quests after you complete the story lines that are about what kinds of decisions you make as the new head of the guild that have an impact on the world; once you're Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold do you continue to isolate from the rest of Skyrim or do you do some PR to improve the image of mages in Skyrim, help with relief efforts after the attack on Winterhold, maybe even repair the bridge to the college, etc. In the Companions questline you could help Farkus overcome his fear of spiders as well as do other similar types of things for the rest of the companions... do you remain werewolves or do you cure yourselves, etc. Anyway I digress. I've thought about making these mods and maybe I will someday but I've got too much on the plate right now. Still though, I'll be looking forward to this mod with a whole lot of hope! Still though, I'll be looking forward to this mod with a whole lot of hope!I agree with you on every point. I've felt disappointed after every single faction since Oblivion, and always seek something to do after, but there is hardly anything. I've chosen the Dark Brotherhood in this case, because it's my favorite faction and I think it's in a sorry state before, and after the finale. I hope to remedy that with this mod. Although I'm not too sure what major impacts I can make it have on the world after, ya know... that ending. Holy cow, I've neglected this thread haven't I? TomTesoro
Awesome!Hey, looking at your YouTube channel now and I see that you're pretty good at modelling. How good would you say you are at UV mapping? Would you be willing to help me out with getting some of my meshes finished? They're already made, I'm just unable to UV them. TomTesoro
Maybe you all are sick of screenshots at this point, but it's all I have to show my progress right now. I don't have enough footage for a new trailer yet. Anyway, here are some new screenshots. It's coming along. I realize I've been saying this for years but as I have reiterated, I am a one man team and this is a pretty large project.
