witchlamb
So I'm trying to make a mod that replaces those awful scale mail patterns on the heavy armour styles with chainmail. A mod already exists for this for men, but it's like 2 years old and was never updated for women.Trouble is I cannot for the life of me find the diffuse/normal/spec maps for the Inquisitor's armours (the basic mail/armour/coat styles) in the mod maker. Where... like, where are they? I can find the PJs and the formalwear maps, but not the armour. I swear I've looked everywhere... nightscrawl
You know, you can always import a mod into the mod maker, examine which files have been altered, and go to them. In this case, you would load up that male mod, see the files, and then look for the corresponding ones for females. To answer your question, they are in the same place where the PJ textures are. Female shares some textures with male, like those for the outer coat, but has unique textures for the scale.Female coat uses DA3//Actors//InquisitorJim//Appearances//Var1//Textures//hm_Inquisitor_core_0222_dFemale scale armor uses DA3//Actors//InquisitorJill//Appearances//Var3//Textures//hf_inquisitor_var3_core_0111_dThe images for the various armor upgrades (gloves, shoulders, boots) are also under male for both.
