Krageesh
This is my first mod, an abandoned orc longhouse like the ones in strongholds but this one is yours.http://www.mediafire.com/?qww5x9nzy6g2dwv It's still far from finished as I would like your opinion to improve it.There's a trapdoor inside the house that leads to a playerowned cellar. Scroll to the bottom to see where it's located. It's easy to reach from Mehrune's Shrine. http://youtu.be/7gJVn7Gw_iw http://i.imgur.com/YBMovl.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/2E2fwl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ypvfZ.jpg Edited April 1, 2012 by Krageesh
SinderionsBones
No wonder it was abandoned! Orcs don't live in places that cold! Lucky find. If I remember correctly most Orc strongholds have some sort of fence around them don't they? At least the ones in Skyrim. Could the basement hold some more clues as to why it was abandoned? If people are to actually live there, you may consider naming it something other than "Abandoned Longhouse" since the moment they move in, it won't be abandoned anymore. I'm sure there's a resource on good way to make a lore friendly orc name somewhere if you care enough. Looks nice. People knock more player houses, but it's a perfect first mod, and that's a nice (READ:Not overused) location.
Krageesh
Thank you, this is exactly the kind of suggestions I wanted. I don't know that much of TES's lore but I don't want something completely out of place either. As for the wooden "fences" or something, I don't really know. It looks good around a real stronghold but I'm not sure about that house, I have to test. Edit: It looks quite nice actually. http://i.imgur.com/RmRbl.jpg Edited March 23, 2012 by Krageesh
TWarrior
nice work in progress, i think there was mod like this on the steam workshop, but dunno where to find it. it got lost in the depths of teh interwebz :Di keep tracking this thread. you might want some storage room under the trapdoor. put some skeevers in and maybe the orc chiefs lost chest with some loot :) Edited March 23, 2012 by TWarrior
ALittleBird
This looks nice, although I never play an orc, I'm interested in having a longhouse as home.

Krageesh
I uploaded a new version in the main post. There's now a cellar with an enchanting table, a bookshelf and a playerowned chest. I added a smelter outside and some statics.I think I'm getting near to the release version.I still need to find a lore-friendly name and add something to explain why it's been abandonned. Krageesh
I'm almost done with the new version of my stronghold. Could someone test it ?I just want to know if I didn't forget files.http://www.mediafire.com/?qww5x9nzy6g2dwv Basically, I want you to speak to the orc (he's outside during the day and in the longhouse the night) until he gives you a quest, then go outside fight the dragon that should spawn, kill him (with the console if you want) and valid the quest, then take the orc as follower. If all this works, the mod should be good for release. Thank you. Edited April 1, 2012 by Krageesh
