Failed to load because of the bashed patch

Hi,

I just finished reinstalling Skyrim and mods, a lot actually.

Everything seems ok until I create the bashed patch. Whenever I create it and activate it in my load order the game fail to load. I mean, I have the logo but no menu (new game, load, etc...)

You have a huge load order. Install Wrye Bash. If the game is crashing on the main menu it means a master file is missing that one of the .esp files require. All mods should be green in Wrye Bash. If you want to cut your load order a bit, enable ghosting in Wrye Bash and create a bashed patch.

As I said, I have ceated a bashed patch and it's when I activate this bashed patch that the main menu doesn't appear (no crash so no missing master)

I have to do further testings but looks like Mator Smash saved me :)

why do u have single Unoffical Patch AND the Legendary Patch?

The Legendary Unoffical Patch is for all DLCs?

Only the Legendary is activated

Bashed patches are often not the culprit. Chances are you have load order issues.

The latest version of Wrye Bash (307.beta2) does have this problem. There are certain mods that cause it if they are merged. See the Posts section. Apparently it has to do with plugins that weren't saved using the CK. Some of them include:

• Size Does Matter.esp
• SRG Enhanced Trees Activator.esp (Enhanced Vanilla Trees)
• DesyncBirdsofPrey.esp (DynDOLOD)
• Traps Are Dangerous.esp
• ScrimshawExpandedLeveledLists.esp
