KyHawkeye
Weird scenario: Skyrim SE was working fine without any issues for me until just after Christmas. Then suddenly the game would not start using Mod Organizer. Read on some posts that MO is not the best option so I converted to to NMM and loaded most of my mods back (leaving out some that turned out to be redundant and some pulled by the creators). Run LOOT, SSEEdit, FNIS like before. Game crashes when I try to resume my previous character. Decide to create a new character. Games starts with Alternative Starts, I select an option, go to the bed, then the game crashes. I try to just escape the jail and it crashes when I try to leave the building by either exit. I deactivated all the mods and tried to run plain vanilla without any mod managers. Game starts but the wagon is all messed up with no one in it. When I look around there are no people on the wagon ahead of me and no horses pulling it. Tried to reinstall and restart vanilla last night. Same thing. Anyone have any ideas of what may be happening? I've tried all the tricks I can think of. Any input is greatly appreciated...
Ghoulnganky
Need to go into problem solving mode... disable all mods (except Unofficial Skyrim Special Edtion), start a new game, proceed through tutorial till your bindings come off, save, quit game, and activate 5 mods at a time to find the culprit, if it crashes, you'd know its one of the last 5 mods you've activated, keep repeating by activating another 5 mods if you don't get CTD, if you get a CTD, find the one of the last 5 you activated by disabling it, if you get a CTD, check the Nexus for an update for that mod, then keep activating 5 at a time till you get another CTD and repeat by disabling to find culprit.
