marob307
Hello, I began to mod,but I have a problem in world building. The problem is little gaps remain when i put together pieces of upper council chamber in imperial palace? How put the pieces together easily without gaps between them ? Surilindur
One thing you could try is ensuring that their x, y and z coordinates nice even values or somesuch (double-click the items in the render window to open the menu) and values that result in them aligning properly. If you use the Construction Set Extender, you can use the on-screen menus (the ones with partially transparent black background) to type in the new coordinates and angles. Another option might be to toggle on "snap to grid" and "snap to angle" and ensuring the snapping grid ad angle are small enough to allow the objects to be aligned properly (in the CS preferences menu, the quick buttons in the toolbar also toggle them on but the grid and angle sizes need to be adjusted in the preferences menu of I remember correctly). Moving and rotating them freely (no snapping) into place can be tricky. Snap to grid and angle would help a lot, and save lots of manual typing in of the coordinates and angles. I know I manually typed in values for a few years before I realised that "snap to grid" and "snap to angle" were a thing. It really saves lots of time and headaches! That is, assuming the pieces are designed to fit together, I have not worked with the palace tileset myself... :ermm: Edited January 3, 2018 by Contrathetix
