pvthudson
Okay so when I open up nexus mod installer and attempt to install a mod a message comes up that says "success", but then it says : A problem occurred during this install BOSS_API_ERROR_FILE_WRITE_FAIL: "C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Skyrim\loadorder.txt" cannot be written to! This mod was not installed Can anyone tell me what this means?
MShoap13
It means that file is read-only. Browse to that file, and under it's properties pop-up, uncheck the read only tick mark.

MShoap13
Mod? You're looking for loadorder.txt... At the location specified in your error message:"C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Skyrim\loadorder.txt"

irswat
click start then in search type %AppData% search appdata for it. I think it's in Local, but it may be under c:users depending what OS you use.
