DrIstvaan
I have a feeling something went awry with my installation of Midas Magic. I have the GOTY edidion of Oblivion, thus it is patched to the latest relese. I use Midas Magic v0960 with patch E.Now, for the problems. For instance, in the corner where the Assimilator should stand (according to the YouTube-video) there's only a table with three red buttons; nothing else. Also, I found that the spell "Midas' Magma Ball" is just a harmless ball, because casting it on an innocent citizen doesn not count as an assault, and also, even if it gets a target and blows utp, it apparently doesn't cause ANY damage.Has anyone else noticed oddities like these? Doesn anybody know what I should do to make this mod well functional?
SpacemanSpIiff
Sounds like your first problem could be a missing mesh. try downloading an earlier version and getting the mesh you need from there. and a few of his spells are bugged, or dont work, theres so many that im sure he lost track of them all, and a few fell through his fingers. Your best bet is to post your findings of the magma ball on the official forum thread topic, Xilver is very good with reading it through and replying to bugs found, im sure he will fix it if you post it. DrIstvaan
Thanks for the reply; I'll heed your advice. As for the mesh, I've downloaded the 0961 version (I've just seen it's up), maybe this contains that mesh.
DrIstvaan
I've extracted the latest version, and it runs well now, the assimilator is there and the magma ball sends anyone flying. It may either be the effect of the upgrade (which I don't think is very probable) or of the fact that until now I used a sub-mod called "Frostcrag Midas Lab"; that may have had these odd side-effects.
