Can't get grass mod to work no matter what?

Don't know what's happening here, just installed skyrim on steam and I only have the dlc's activated, along with opeth weather and torch. Also running the opeth enb and the skyrim particle patch, that's about it and this grass mod won't work for some reason.

Made sure everything in the configs is right for modded grass to generate, I have

 

[Grass]

bAllowCreateGrass=1

bAllowLoadGrass=0

iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=15

iMinGrassSize=70

iGrassCellRadius=3

bGrassPointLighting=1

b30GrassVS=0

in Skyrim.ini

Mods should also work fine also,

bEnableFileSelection=1

bShowAllResolutions=1

uLastAspectRatio=1

Unless It's an out dated way of activating mods.

Activated the grass mod on the nexus mod manager, latest version. It's really the downloaded mod I have activated but it still won't change the grass. Does anyone know why?

Those grass settings look like they're are for Verdant. The default setting for iMinGrassSize is 20 (higher is less grass). Try these settings instead:

iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=3
iMinGrassSize=20

Also, where are you testing it? That mod only affects two types of grass (fieldgrassobj01 and fieldgrassobj02). You may need to find an area that uses this kind of grass.
