Multiple water levels in same cell

I've seen in several cells where the water level has been made in several rectangular pieces then placed at different levels! I'd like to make a small lake near the top of a hill.

Anyone know how to do this in a single cell?

Thanks

You can come close using Texan's meshes, but they aren't actually water (no swimming/splash). In the CS water height is controlled through the entire cell. so you cannot have a change in the middle of the cell. To make a lake, the hill would have to cover more than a cell, then the lake would be one portion within that cell which is lowered.

Vagrant(), Thanks for the reply. But I am looking at cells 1,-1 and 2,0 in the CS with only Oblivion .esm loaded and see that somehow those water levels have been sectioned and given different elevations! It must be able to be done, but maybe not by the CS. I don't know.

I've found several other cells done with similar sectioning of the water level.

Anyone have any ideas?

Replies appreciated :)

Take another look. that is the edge of the cell, so the water level can be set at two different heights in two different cells. Rotate the camera so that you can see the water level from beneath the ground. All those squares are a seperate cell. When you click something in a cell, it will show the cell location above the render window, when you click another reference, after any change, you'll see that the cell number has changed. They then use activators and other things to mask the straight edges, or to make up for any distance issues.
