Can't Uninstall Oblivion

here's the deal.

And i stupidly went to the oblivion folder thinking i could just go ahead and delete it, and i did. now i can't run setup.exe. how do i deal with this?

My advice would be (as error messages are always gibberish):

You could try running setup.exe from the Oblivion disk to uninstall(try this one first)

Should you get no results, then as you've deleted the game folder, try also deleting the C\ Docs.and Set.\-username-\My Games\Oblivion folder and then see if you can install the game.

Edit: As you might have noticed, there is a pinned topic just above the page about reinstallation.

The solution is there but the author didn't mention about deleting the game folder (yes, you are a bit stupid my friend)
