Michaelnw272
I've never had a mod of any sort in my gaming "career". I'm hoping someone could give me a quick step by step for installing and applying mods. Thanks!

Crimsomrider
First download Nexus Mod Manager which allows you to easily install and manage mods. Then be sure to enable modding by following this post. Once you did that, you can download, install and play with any mod on the Nexus. Be sure to VERY CAREFULLY read the description of each mod and what it does. Not reading the description could lead to issues or incompatibilities with other mods. Thandal
I highly (let me say that again, HIGHLY) recommend against using any mod manager as an introduction to modding. There are way too many things that can go wrong with any "automated process". If that's all you know, you have no idea how to even begin troubleshooting when things go sideways. (As they will. Trust me.) For example, of the five main types of mods for the Dragon Age series of games, the Nexus Mod Manager can only handle two of them correctly. And even then, only for two of the three games. And not always for those. If you're brand new to modding any specific game, pick a single mod you think you'd like and just follow that mod author's instructions for its installation. Once you have that one working, pick another. Rinse-Repeat until you're confident you have the basics down. Then, and only then, consider using whichever manager seems to be most appropriate for the game involved.
