wttwjr
Sharing and Caring Companions Could someone make this mod to use unlimited companion framework and of course with some basic spoken dialogue? A great concept that was abandoned sadly by its original author JediJosh920. I think it would be nice to have the hired companions have options for non-essential or protected. And quest NPC's stay essential until the quest is completed. Who will take up this mantle and make a classic Fallout 3 mod awesome with Fallout 4? Do we have any takers for this? wttwjr
It appears this idea has zero value to the Nexus. I gave it my best shot.

wttwjr
Yes, we all know how to use console commands to set essential. That does NOT make them become a follower/companion like the mod JediJosh920 created.

You didnt link the mod you referenced, and its not my job to go doing your legwork for you. The one thing i know for sure you were asking for, i answered. And not trying to be mean or anything, but is english your second language? because something about your sentence structure makes it incredibly hard to read/understand

Could someone make this mod (INSERT MOD LINK HERE), using unlimited companion framework? Preferably with some basic spoken dialogue. It was a great concept that was, sadly, abandoned by its original author; JediJosh920. I think it would be nice to have the hired companions with options for non-essential or protected, and quest NPC's stay essential until their quest is completed. Who will take up this mantle and make a classic Fallout 3 mod awesome in Fallout 4? Do we have any takers for this? There, i made some basic grammatical changes that makes it a lot easier to read. Also, in the future, can you not bold/enlarge the entire post? It makes it more difficult to read and screws up the commenting on it Edited January 14, 2018 by matttighe15
wttwjr
Here are the links for the two mods that already exist: https://rd.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24081 and https://rd.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19999. Both mods can provide an API or framework to be augmented or updated. I hope this helps. And yes, it does appear that both of these are no longer being worked on. And no, I'm not saying take over working on them. Perhaps its a good idea to look at them to see how they work.
