Poison Destruction Element in Skyrim.

I have tried to be as detailed as i can because the Spells/Fixes/New Destruction Tree are exactly

what my Necromancer is missing. This is not a request, more of a 'What do you think?' as i plan

to give this a go myself, i would like to know though, is this feasable? i am basing most of this

on the assumtion that i can use re-coloured animation effects such as green fire for basic poison

spray (they will have better names). Also i am concerned about the 'Rune' as the vanilla rune

floor grapghics are unique to each element and would like the same for the poison one, would i be

able to make a new graphic with a unique look that is 100% lore friendly with the language/runes

depicted on the graphic the way it should be? i hope this makes sence.

I am not a Modder, those guys are genius but am buying Skyrim for my PC as my Xbox is now dead...

I Ramble, I have never modded a game before and this would be my first. Have i bitten off more

that i can chew? i will see. Or would building that Cave-Home i have had floating round my head

be more suitable for a novice? If so then this would be a very honoured request with the

sincerist appreatiation for the person that brings my game to life.

Anyway, here are my thaughts...

Destruction,

Novice - Poison 8 pts for 1 sec.

Appren - Poison Rune, 50 pts for 1 sec.

Appren - Poison Bolt, 25 pts.

Adept - Poison Ball, 40 pts in 15 ft.

Adept - Poison Cloak, 8 pts for 60 secs.

Expert - Poison Spear, 60 pts.

Expert - Wall of Poison, 50 pts for 1 sec.

Master - Poison Storm, 20 pts for 10 sec in 40 ft.

Related Perks,

Augmented Poison. (2 Ranks) 30/60 Destruction. Poison spells do 25/50% more damage.

Intense Poison. 40 Destruction. Poison damage causes targets to frenzy if their

health is low.

Duel casting.

Stagger.

Restoration,

Cure Disease

Cure Poison

Ressurect (like console command but a spell, [not reanimate])

Conjuration,

Bound Dagger (Daedric Equivalent) Mystic Dagger (Legendary Deadric Equivalent)

Bound Pickaxe

Destruction Spells to Ballance with the vanilla fire/frost and shock. Slightly cheaper to cast than

equivalent fire spells to compansate for the fact frenzy could have the opposite effect of

fires 'fear' in that the target could run towards player instead of away.

Poisoned Targets take extra damage.

Restoration spells added because i beleive it was a mistake to leave them out.

Conjuration 'Bound' and 'Mystic' Spells (Vanilla) have 'Daedric' and 'Legendary Daedric' Status.

Yes, and yes. Making a house mod first thing, a functioning house mod. Is never a bad idea. Get a good feel for the CK and how stuff works.

Your spells and stuff are nice and conservative from a modding standpoint :D It's mostly just copying old effects and changing some numbers. This is exactly what the CK is designed to help you do. Many other mods have parallel effects you could take a look at and learn from. I would hold off on thinking of recoloring spell effects. So far as I know there is no green, but nobody would notice if you just used red for now. The recoloring is a job either for, or under the instruction of, someone who has a F'ing clue how you edit such things in the first place. You can't do it in the CK. I *think* it's a 3d thing, though the rune decal maybe a simple texture, in which case you'd have a much better chance of being able to just load it up in photo shop and adding a green tint to it and moving around some lines.

I never play TES games or based games on console (though I own morrowind and oblivion for their respective xbox's >.< skyrim too actually /facepalm).. always too buggy and you have no in game console to save yourself. TES games are more like... playing a giant mod someone just made, that has the equivalent number of bugs for such a project.

Wow, thank you, very informative.

I thaught i would have to find a program that let me draw my graphics but since i can do it through PhotoShop this has made things much easier  . The CK seems very user freindly aswel. I like the mods that fit with the original 'feel' of the game.

I think Tamriel's story is brilliant and i don't want to change a thing. I'll start with the Cave-Home then upload my results to The Nexus, this and maybe a couple of Necro-Buddies. It may be Necro-Spesific now but I'd love to

see what other people thaught when its done. Just got to wait to start.
