Tamujiin
Yo im Tamujiin, and i thought this idea for a post would be awsome, Pets, anything about them, real world pets, Nano pets whatever. I got two dogs and two fish Spike and jake, to little terrier muts, good lil guys, the fish ( i dont know there names, they change daily around here ) A beta and a goldfish ( seperate bowls yes. ) I shared recently in the discovery of the fact that i thinks pets should be able to get the same healthcare availability as pet owners. Is there such thing as pet insurance? Is there such thing as a vet that may actually FIND OUT what is wrong with your pet? Those are my current "things" i would like to say about "pets". Feel free to share pictures and what not.I used to have an iguana, i used to have a snake, so anything goes here. Share em if you Care for em! Another thing that i wonder about and this also prompted to make this topic, How come when you look up medications for your animal, not one place shows the possible side effects of that particular drug? Nintii
Well I've two dogs ... pavement specials lol ... but I love them, had three but I'm certain that my gardener injured her spine with a spade - well so says the vet - and so she had to be put down, her back legs refused to work and the Vet was getting annoyed because I kept refusing to give him permission to put her down.I really broke down in my car on the day I agreed to let my dog go ... damn I cried so hard, it was all "snot, trane and mascara". (trane = tears). Anyway, my angle on pets is their sheer resilience to overcome all odds stacked against them ... you see a good few years ago while reversing out of my garage one of mydogs ran under the car and I drove over her.I was horrified and like a madwoman I raced across the city to the nearest pet hospital. The doctor told me that Sasha - my dog - would never run again, ever and worse still that she would never have puppies.Yeah well my dog is my like me ... full of surprises because she runs just fine and miracle upon miracle she had puppies. I'd love to upload a picture but it seems that photobucket has gone weird on me.
mattlittlej
I have a cat that my ex girlfriend got me a while ago. She was a rescue cat and pretty wild, but she's since mellowed with age and is becoming a lazy sunbather. Also, my dad does field trials, hunt tests, and all that jazz and occasionally breeds labs. While he typically only handles black labs (more aggressive and faster than yellow labs) he said he'll hook me up with a yellow lab when I'm ready for one (apartment + 65 lb dog = bad). naomis8329
I have two cats (did have 3 but one died of shock after a near miss with a car) and I'm looking after my daughter's 12 month old puppy who is driving me and the cats crazy lol. He is a King Charles/Jack Russell cross and thinks he needs to round the cats up quite regularly. As a result (in a 3 storey house) it sounds like a herd of elephants running rampant, especially as my remaining 10 month old kitten has got it into her head to eat Mr Binx's dog kibble instead of her own. He takes exception to this and war ensues. The hurtling of two small bodies up and down 2 flights of stairs, over every bed in the house and then around the lounge tends to drive one insane after a while. Trying to keep everyone separated and happy is totally insane and I fear I shall lose it pretty soon, if I haven't all ready that is. Not sure to be honest, gosh was that a flying chocolate pig that went past my window???? I think I'll invest in some goldfish, will be quieter........ scrivener07
Dog lover reporting in. I started out as a maintenance worker for a dog daycare and boarding facility but quickly fell in love with dogs. Ended up being a kennel tech and daycare attendant for 2 years. I got certified now Im a hydrotherapist helping dogs with acl tears, hip dysplasia, etc. Ive got to say my favorite breeds are the rotts, english labs, chessies, huskies, goldens, aussies, germans, flatcoats, corgis, and yes..... all mutts. Still miss the pack to this day. Id do that work forever if it paid more. Ill see if I can dig up some photos of my old daycare crew. edit: @naomis8329 how could I forget the cavilers!.. lol I might as well list every dog there is. Angle (doberman F) Cleo (boxer F) Buddys birthday a shih tzu M Wish I had more digital. My other stuff is on film. How come when you look up medications for your animal, not one place shows the possible side effects of that particular drug? Because people dont care. Dont get me started I will rage for 10 pages about how stupid pet owners can be. Just like the human pharmaceutical industry, the pet pharmaceutical industry is designed to steal your money 0 concern about the patient. Do your research and ask around about any drug or treatment recommended by a vet or doctor.
