gem321
Hey does anyone know how I can tweak the Pip-Boy 2500 fov settings in the GECK to my personal liking. I tried using a FOV changer mod but the fov doesn't stick. So if anyone can tell me the file to look for or what to do it would be appreciated. I've also looked around a bit but can't find the file to change the fov.
dubiousintent
FOV settings are in the INI files, and there are several. FOV Slider by Roy Batty is a simple mod that adds an MCM menu that allows for adjusting the various Fields of View for all of the game's camera views. If you are not getting changes this makes to "stick", then you have a "permissions" problem such as the INI files are "Read Only" or you have the game installed to a "protected location". Did you install Steam to it's default location? If so, please see the wiki "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" article for why the original default Steam behavior of installing games to the "C:\Program Files" folder tree was bad (they learned better, and don't do that any more); and why "disabling UAC and running as Administrator" is NOT sufficient, with instructions how to move it. This is the single most important thing you can do to fix and protect yourself against problems in the future. As much of a PITA as that is, it's never going to be any easier than now. Please see the 'Restoring to "Vanilla"' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article as well. -Dubious- Edited January 6, 2018 by dubiousintent
