FriskyAlpacas Posted January 8, 2018 Share Posted January 8, 2018 There's all these NPC Overhauls/replacers and not one person has come out with a thorough newbie friendly tutorial on how to change the appearance of an existing NPC using assets from mods like skin textures, KS Hairdos Renewal, or Natural Eyes. As of right now I know of two methods 1.) Using Creation Kit and Wrye Bash to convert all the ESP files to ESM (which took me hours to gather that info from a bunch of different places) 2.)Theoretically using the Racemenu/Nifskope/Creation Kit Method, but as far as I can tell this method only works when creating new custom followers or NPC's, haven't come across any tutorials of people using this method to edit existing NPCS with other mod assets. I really want to give Vilkas and Faendal a makeover, using assets from other mods, but I haven't been able to find a clear concise method of doing something like this. Erks the hell out of me. Really only want to edit their face and hair for the body I usually use SOS. So please if there is a kind soul out there that has a minute please! I beg of you! make a tutorial!
