It involves scripting the object to recognize it is being hit, and what it is being hit with. bben46 Posted March 26, 2012 Share Posted March 26, 2012 If someone is interested in tackling this, Oblivion had a great mod that you had to light the torches and lanterns or be left in the pitch black darkness. You could use a carried torch to light other torches or lanterns, or a fireball worked just as well. Several times when entering a new dark area I would throw a string of low level fireballs across the room at about eye level, see an unlit torch or lantern and target them with the next group of cheap to throw fireballs to light them. You could look at the scripting for that to see if either it can be adapted or for ideas on how to do your own. Though I'm sure I'd know how to code this. But it would involve editing a lot of vanilla interior and linking lights and etc. I don't know how skyrim would handle that, especially if someone else edited the same cells.
