WastelandAssassin
as long as you don't intend on using different versions of FO4 , you can use MO2 and use the profile system of itmake sure to make the profiles before you start installing the different mods , and install whatever mods for each profilethis should do the trick for you

WastelandAssassin
I haven't used NMM in the past year at the very least , probably morethe thing about MO (1 & 2) is that tool allows you to install mods to whatever folder you want , so you don't install mods directly into your game's folderlast time I used NMM , it installed mod to your game's folder , so starting from this won't work as you are installing mods over a modded game the best thing if you really want to have two profiles is to start from a fresh install of the game , then start everything from scratchIf you use the existing modded game as a base , you may have problems with some mods (mostly resources that are in your game's folders , like meshes , textures and such)can't promise you'll have problems , but can't promise everything will work finefeel free to try it and see , though you may not notice problems so early , so it may seem fine at first but end up problematic down the line
