andy123vn
hi dudes, behaved as far as i know regarding the plot, i.e. buy, get jumped, find the note, imperial city, back to anvil with the dodgy realtor, unseal the doodad. but when i got there he just starts dancing like a goth on a 5 second loop and nothing happens and now half the time i reload he's missing. potential bollocks ups on my behalf are : 1) i hit him by accident just after we got there; he fought back for a moment then got back to it. 2) before i figured out about picking up the diary fragment a pal, who purports to be an 'Xbox Xpert' of the game might have used the ~ thing to try to get through it; says he didn't but y'know.any thoughts/reset codes/etc. would be helpful. i only get time to play once a week and generally play a lot of hours when i do... and i never hard save. making me of course an idiot but also someone who would really very much like my last 2 days off not to have been completely wasted.this is my first ever post to a games forum and when reading it, please take into account that i type with one finger and how long it took. that's how much i would like to get this fixed.regards and thanks in advance for any aid you can supply this lowly luddite. andy
Vagrant0
I'm guessing that you used some way to change the standard timescale from 30? The problem is that normally, he stands there and does his thing for 2-3 minutes. With the default timescale, this is only a few seconds, with a timescale lower than 30, he usually ends up dropping the package due to one reason or another (you hitting him while he's doing it, you talking to him while he is doing it, or he re-evaluates his packages before he finishes). I made some adjustments to the scripting involved with this aspect, and another quest which uses the same sort of deal, so that it works regardless of timescale. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5859 However, if the action already happened, or can't happen because you attacked him, you may have to either load a save made before you entered the basement with him, or use console to manually adjust the quest stage (may not be needed) and open the wall (activate <ID of the door you see when you click on it with console open> 1). S2RA
If you never hard save and have the room for multiple and I mean MULTIPLE saves you should download Streamline it constantly saves your game on separate saves so that you can go back a short distance, just remember to clean up the saves don't need anymore because they can take up space pretty fast. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10400
