chaoticwings3
So I spent a while modding oblivion so I can replay the game and have a different experience from before. Installed the unofficial patch, an alt-tab fix, a leveling change, some weapons, a house, and some custom races which I then proceeded to change every single npc of the game to. The game ran fine and the npcs were fine as well through dungeons and for the first hour of the game. As soon as I got to my first Oblivion gate however things started to get weird. Some of the guards decided for fun to jump really high in the air and then fall down, not take any fall damage and then proceed to loop this process. >_> This special past time has been catching on with the residents of Cyrodill and only a select few at a time but they won't do it indoors because I guess they would hit their heads all the time in there. XD I should also mention that when they die they will stop bouncing but as soon as they revive they will proceed to try to jump to the moons again. Any ideas what may have caused this or any ways to fix this via a mod or console command? I've been trying to figure this out but google seems to have no clue. >_> Tried tcl as well which works....somewhat. It will have characters floating in the air on certain areas (which was fine they would look weird but at the very least they weren't jumping everywhere >_>) or disappear from the map entirely on others (which is bad). chaoticwings3
Bit of an update on this. Seems I can teleport said bouncing npcs indoors using the console command and then proceed to talk to them normally. This also seems to fix any issues with quests and npc schedules if they end up bouncing around so much that they can't go into a door. XD Still, if anyone has any idea as to what is kind of happening (why npcs begin moon jumping for some reason when I enter their proximity outdoors >_>) and/or any ideas to help prevent this.
