Falcon761 Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 I have never installed an addon before and there is one that I am interested in, the Bigger, greater Housing mod. or something like that. You buy a house from a real estate type buisness. I am afraid that It will do perminent damage to my save files or it might be low quality and damage the game. Does anyone know about this mod or can help me with mod damage in general. :help: Note to moderators: cant find with search tool!
Stampede Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 Well, I do not know this mod myself Falcon, but I will be glad to give you what advice I know. 1: Back up those saves!!! Please I cannot stress how important this is, its such an easy process and can make all the difference in the end. 2:Read the instructions. Any decent plugin worth its bytes should have instructions either on the site or a readme with it, or both. 3:Keep track of all your mods, if your games starts doing crazy things, it is most likely because of a dodgy plugin. 4:Back up those saves!!! Did I tell you how important this is?
upia Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 I happened to have downloaded this mod a while ago it is very good and it did not damage my save games in anyway, but like Stampede said i would and i did backup the save games. out of ten i would rate that mod at about 7.

upia Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 well i happen to have the mod on my pc i could send it to you by e-mail if you want, its 280kb so its not that big. i dont have broadband so i cant download the larger mods very easily. hope this helps. :D

Look for the sign that says:"DON'T BE PUT OFF BY THE UGLY MODERATORS, THE ADMIN ARE MUCH NICER" The search button is right below the comma(,).
