LE Boomstick and Chainsaw

I've always wanted to play a game based on Army of Darkness, probably one of the funniest B grade movies I've seen :) But none of the games I've played have been very good. I feel that the setting of Skyrim is fairly close to that of medieval setting of Army of Darkness and (skyrim is already a good game) so to me it makes sense to add in a few extra things to make a game that is inspired by army of darkness (obviously some subtle changes to ensure no copyright is being broken).

I understand that this would be a quite big mod if everything below was included - but i think simply by starting with a double barrell shotgun and a chainsaw as weapons, and then adding in the rest, bit by bit it could eventually be built up into something really special. Also a skyrim and the creation kit already have a lot that can be used - e.g. the skyrim monsters such as necromancers, hargravens and undead, are very similar to those of the movie, so they would not need to be remade.

 

 

The idea behind this mod would be an adventure, which centres around a store clerk who has been mysteriously transported back in time to the world of skyrim. The player must use their 21st century knowledge (and weapons!) to battle the evil that plagues skyrim.

It would bring some 21st Century action and some dark wacky comedy to Skyrim.

 

 

-New Race: Store Clerk

 

-New Weapons:

***Single Barrel Shotgun (both hands only)

***Double Barrel Sawn-Off Shotgun - double the damage, but 1/2 the accuracy (left hand only) (for close encounters, best used in combo with the chainsaw or mechanical gauntlet)

***Mechanical Gauntlet - push enemies with great force (right hand only)

***Unreliable Chainsaw - random running time, random cooldown between usage. (right hand only)

***Mini Crossbow (either hand, or dual wield)

***Large Crossbow (both hands only)

***Belt of Knots -(works like a grapple) allows you to attach yourself to walls, jump again, and attach again - effectively allowing you to scale tall buildings, mountains and trees (either hand)(starting item)

All weapons can be upgraded for additional damage at the black smith.

 

 

-New Perk Trees:

--Badass

***increase unreliable chainsaw running time (3 tiers)

***decrease unreliable chainsaw cooldown (3 tiers)

***increase unreliable chainsaw attack speed (3 tiers)

--Kickass

***increase chance of shotgun knockdown (3 tiers - 25%,50%,75%)

***increase double barrel shotgun reload speed/fire rate(3 tiers)

***increase single barrel shotgun accuracy / decrease pellet spread (3 tiers)

--Smartass

***increase mechanical gauntlet knockBACK distance (3 tiers)

***increase mechanical gauntlet knockUP height (3 tiers)

***increase regeneration speed of Dragon shouts (3 tiers)

***increase grapple distance of Belt of knots(3 tiers)

 

-New Dragon(store clerk) shouts

***This..is my BOOOMSTICK! - enemies run away feared.

***You know your shoelace is untied - enemy is paralysed

***Klaatu Barada..Cough Cough Mumble - hits enemies with lightning, but spawns between 1 - 4 skeletons that attack everything

***You want some more?... huh?.. do you want a little more? - for 60 seconds armor rating is 500.

***Panic and Scream Woahh.... - for 60 seconds you can run without draining your adrenaline (great for escaping the darkness in the woods) (starting item)

 

-New Quests

 

Kings(human) Quests:

***Escape the Pit (obtain unreliable chainsaw inside the pit)

***Locate the Windmill (obtain double barrel shotgun)

***Speak with the Town Guard to obtain "This... is MY BOOMSTICK!" Dragon shout

***Find various Dwemer parts to create the Dwemer Motorcycle mount

***King sells: the alchemy recipe Turn to Oil (turns any ingredients or food into Dwemer oil) (used to power vehicles and chainsaw)

***King Sells : large crossbow

 

--Wizard(high elf) Quests

***Speak with the Greybeard Town wizard (to "obtain your shoelace is untied" Dragon shout)

***Locate the Forest shack (obtain single barrel shotgun)

***Retrieve the Book of the dead (to "obtain Klaatu Barada N...cough..." Dragon Shout)

***Destroy the hargraven lair and collect feathers to create the Hargraven Glider mount

***Wizard sells : the alchemy recipe Turn to powder (turns any ingredients or food into powders - used in the shotguns)

 

--Blacksmith(orc) Quests:

***Speak with blacksmith to obtain "You want some more?... huh?.. do you want a little more?" Dragon Shout

***Find the car full of science books (allows crafting of Mechanical Gauntlet)

***Find and mine particular ore deposits for Mechanical Gauntlet

***Craft Mechanical Gauntlet at Blacksmith

***Collect various parts around skyrim which will create Armored Sedan mount

***Orc Sells: Enchanted Blue shirt of broken teleport spell.(see below)

***Orc Sells: Mini Crossbows

 

 

 

-New Town:

***Stereotypical Castle - includes, blacksmith store, wizards tower, king hall, the Pit entry location, tavern, mount stables etc etc

 

-New Dungeon: The Pit

***This arena style dungeon labyrinth is full of Witches, Hargraven, Skeletons, zombies AND SPIKES! The only way out is to use the Belt of Knots. The chainsaw is initially found here.

***Enemies respawn each time, so you can play it over and over - enemies scale with levels to keep it challenging

 

-New Houses

***The Windmill

***The Wooden Forest Shack - when you sleep here the undead might come out.

 

-New Armor

*** Enchanted Blue shirt of broken teleport spell - when you are hit with melee attacks - 30% chances you will be teleported to a nearby random location.

 

-New enemy behaviour for hargraven and witches: feign death

*50% chance to resurrect automatically

*random time interval between 5-30 seconds.

 

-New Enemies

***Flying bat book - zips around like a bat, bites like... a bat. Looks like a spell book.

***Something Dark in the woods - a strange mist surrounds you, a loud evil horn like sound chases you through the woods.

You must run until you find somewhere to hide. (use your Panic and Scream shout) Drains health very quickly if it gets too close, occasionally paralyses you so you fall over and stumble for 1 second.

 

 

-New Mounts:

***Dwemer Motorcycle - A HORSE WITH WHEELS SIR!? A superfast torquey hill climber, cannot travel in water.

***Hargraven Feather Glider - allows you to glide across the landscape

***Orc Armored Sedan, does not take damage - cannot drive in water.

All require to be refilled with Dwemer oils (place into the inventory of the mount)

A very smart team of modders should work on this...it sounds extremely badass.
