Tobias44142
I'm trying to edit the "Clutter\CounterSet\CounterCornerOut01.nif" with nifskope but despite SEEING it in the Creation kit and being able to use it I cannot physically find it while browsing my skyrim mesh folders. I see other stuff like the tankards and barrels but this is just not there. Edited January 13, 2018 by Tobias44142
Tobias44142
Sorry I'm trying to upload a bigger picture but the 250kb max file extension is a b! tch. I converted it to jpeg but now Nexus won't allow me to re upload another attachment. If I try to link it in the body of the text I get "An error occoured: You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community" whatever the hell that means. Boy oh boy is it ever a chore just to link a dam picture from my desktop. I'll be lucky to ever get this original issue resolved when it has become quite the task in the process of just ASKING a question on this forum. Tobias44142
Update: Ok I used a BSA Unpacker and now there it is. Can't figure out why only some of the mesh .nif files are present in the Skyrim directory. Either way this should work.
Genamine
By default, everything is packed into archives, this is to reduce total file size and to speed up load times There are certain mods however that edit meshes, these are not always packed into archives Archives that are loaded later than the vanilla archives overwrite the vanilla archives (an archive is loaded together with a plugin of the same name, e.g. an archive called 'ThisPlugin - Meshes.bsa' would be loaded with a plugin called 'ThisPlugin.esp')Loose files always overwrite all archives
Tobias44142
Yes I have extracted all Mesh/Textures through use of Nifskope and have now accomplished what I wanted. The "CounterCornerout01" had a different design on it. I went into Nifskope and moved the UV map over the usual "Iron rivet kickplate" so now it (mostly) matches the rest of the counters. Thank you for your help.
