[LE] Tutorials wanted.

So i decided to try and create some mods, but a have hard time finding guides for this. My expirience with modding is... well, zero. I was wandering if i could create some animations and armor (even if it would require a great deal of time), but most tutorials are outdated or meant for people who already has some exp with modding. If someone could provide with a link to a step by step guide on how to create a new armor, i'd much appreciate this. I'm not talking about duplicating existing armor or retexturing it or whatever, cause there's enough info on that staff. I actually want to create my own meshes, but i don't even know where to start. Thanks in advance.

Creating new armor with zero knowledge in 3D modeling is way beyond any modding tutorial for Skyrim. You'll need to learn the basics of 3D modeling first and this will take a lot of patience and dedication, but it is VERY rewarding once you get the hang of it. There was once a site called digitaltutors just for this sort of thing but you needed a subscription for it. I used to dabble in 3D modeling 2 years ago for about 11 months, but ran into frustrating issues with UV maps, and my 3D modeling program having poor support for import/exporting in Skyrim(3DS Max 200x). I'd say check out Blender to get your feet wet in 3D modeling. Their modeling program is free, and it has enough support to put stuff in the game without too much hassle(nifskope support)

3D modeling has really thrived on the internet, you can find help/tutorials for just about any problem encountered.

 

One thing though, working in 3D space can be confusing/discouraging at first, but do not let get to you. And start small and work your way up. If you start big, you will get frustrated.

 

Animations are a whole different kind of beast I can't say anything about, except this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811 will allow you to make animations of sorts(details are on the page, I personally never tried it)
