Pantha13 Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 Hi there, if anyone knew how to fix my issue, it would be greatly apprechiated. i was annoyed by the loud arrowhit-sound, always getting played when one of my arrows hit an enemy, no matter how far away said enemy was, which i consider to be immersion-breaking. I wanted the sound to fade over distance, just like any other sound. I edited the governing sound descriptor, which seems to be "WPNImpactArrowVsFleshPlayer" to use a different output model. I used "SOMMono03000_verb" instead of the default "SOMStereo_verb", which seemed to do the trick just nicely. However for some STRANGE reason, now whenever i make an area transition, autosave, pick up stuff, or any other form of screen message occurs ingame, that arrowhit-sound is played, which is even worse than before. It has been of no use to use a "fading" stereo output model, instead of o mono one, or use any other form of fading variant. Does anybody have any idea how to address this issue?
