Omny
So I have a problem in my game: certain particle effects, namely smoke from big fires like dragon attacks from the Stormcloak attack on Solitude, steam from dwarven spheres and cooking pots, mist from waterfalls and splashes of water on streams all appear as big ugly squares with the particle textures in them (all other particle effects however, look totally fine). After e-mailing the problem to Bethesda, they told me the problem was that my Intel chipset was not supported, and since it's built into my laptop, I can't change it. So what I plan to do to fix this unsightly issue is to make my own particle textures and replace the vanilla ones. There's just a few problems though: 1: How do I make them? I've made particle effects before, but not for Skyrim or any other video games.2: Would this actually work?3: If it didn't, would there be another way around this problem? Perhaps somehow making the effects supported by my chipset?
