I would like to request a mod that would allow us to make peace between institute and BOS. It would allow us to side with either of them and completing the game without destroying the other.

 

For example, as a general of minuteman, knight of BOS and second in command of institute ypu could get them to negotiate with each other. Say BOS would demand end of production of synths gen3 and disclosure of all replaced people, while institute gets protection and intelligence.

 

The other way that would be probably simpler to implement is to fake institutes destruction, BOS would think they won and institute would just stay quiet and dug in.

 

I was trying myself to learn to mod but this is highly above my skill grade, though from what I have seen the second type of implementation could be fairly simple. Skip the battle in institute (say you go in solo to infiltrate yada yada) then set up a fake bomb on top of instute and explode it. Then just prevent the institute fast travel station from disappearing and fix some dialoges.

 

I am looking forward to hear your ideas.

i've not tried either of these mods since i only finished the game once like shortly after the game came out, but if i do ever finish the main quest again, i'll probably use one of these two mods:

as i said, i haven't used these mods yet so idk if they'll be helpful for what you described above but these are the only two "alternate ending" mods that i'm aware of.

I was going to recommend https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20467 myself, as it seems to fit your second request/ requirement. I'm planning on doing this after I finish the https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3511 , Best good ending. I want to see if I can keep all 4 factions going. Good luck.

Thanks, I did not find those two even though I searched for them for hours. The first type of mod could still be fun though, word battles can be as challenging as a real combat if made right...

I wanted one where i would tell the railroad that now i control the institute, boom, no more mistreated synths

None of them allow me to keep the BOS around. Which i want to, i like their ship, its one of the few "unique" locations in the game. Maybe id somehow take over them too, and we would agree synths are actually a good thing? Idk, just something other than them dying

I just found this the other day and it works, just look at the requirements. If you stick fairly close to directions, you have all 4 factions, and can continue to do quests for all of them. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22381
