GoodfellowGoodspring Posted March 29, 2012 Share Posted March 29, 2012 (edited) For my first 'big' mod in Skyrim i have decided to build a distant town on a iceberg in the Sea of Ghosts, just north of the College of Winterhold and near Septimus Signus's Outpost. I got inspired from a city in Final Fantasy 9 called Esto Gaza, which happens to have one giant library, wind turbines and is next to a distinct volcano (and ofcourse me being me the volcano will be active in the middle of a frozen sea..) Soo i was hoping some experienced modders could help me out with some questions i have: - Would a volcano be possible to build in Skyrim? I was thinking of a semi-mountain then have lava trickling down the side of it with hot springs and be able to see smoke coming from the mountain from range. (Is there even any lava in Skyrim? Don't think ive seen any plains of oblivion about!) - My ideal construction-berg is dangerously close to the limits of the map, has anyone got any knowledge modding like this? I know a mod could fix the ' You cant go that way' barrier but ive also noticed that landmasses tend to disappear at range like its unstable? I have also had issues with buildings disappearing at certain differences especially when i get close up, the Creation Kit tends not to load certain parts of the iceberg as well if im at a certain angle or different square to the rest of the items! :( Hope somebody can help! :D Maybe Ahzid Diin, yo!
