Mod Suggestion

Had an idea: Persistent Faction Patrols. Not spawn-and-forget enemies. These are living, persistent, AI-controlled enemies. They should respawn, but should have routines that are tracked as they move across the world. For example:

-Thalmor patrols. travel between Shrines of Talos looking for Worshippers. Should be hostile to Stormcloaks. 3 - 5 man - err, Elf - patrols. Elven gear ONLY. Armor set to Non-playable for balance (its custom-fitted.)

-Stormcloak/Imperial. Persistent patrols. Might be a mod for this already. Not spawns like Warzone. These guys move between camps, maybe carrying food, ale, some spare ore and ingots for smithing. Extra armor, weapons, that stuff. Enterprising artists could do pack horses that folllow them. Hostile to opposition, of course.

-Vigilant of Stendarr: Better armor, better weapons. Actively hunt down enemies like Undead and Vampires. Once per week, they switch from patrol to raid a certain dungeon looking for enemies.

-Adventurer: Travel the world, occasionally dungeon diving into known, safe dungeons (no quest specific, fixed ones.) It would be cool to follow one into a dungeon one day and have an "ally" in it. They could even look for lower-value weapons/armor in the dungeon, but would have high responsibility so they would not steal. And they would only search for items indoors, not outside, to avoid stealing/confrontation with friendlies.

-Suppliers: Carry goods from city to city. Ingots, ore, food and ingredients. Someone has to mine those mines and someone else has to bring the goods to market. These folk travel the land doing the latter. They respawn, but have regular patrols from a given mine to a given shop or two in cities, and back.

-Vampires: disabled in daylight hours. Travel roads. Should not be identifiable as Vampires. Some passive, travel between cities. Others feral, travel between dungeons and will attack.

I think this would really enhance the idea of Skyrim as a living world. Especially if mod authors stick to mostly vanilla resources like armor ,weapons, etc. Might even look into doing this myself, but somewhat burned out on Skyrim at present. Wanted to share the idea, however.
