jennywoerz Posted January 22, 2018 Share Posted January 22, 2018 I can't seem to find any other instances of this particular problem anywhere on the wide web, so I hope you guys can help me... Decided to play Fallout 4 again after a 2-3 month break, but did a bit of a mod clean-out beforehand. Got rid of Sim Settlements, Orphans of the Commonwealth plus a few workshop bits and pieces that I've never used, can't remember all of them but one was definitely Passive Water Sources. Not sure if they're even related in any way to my problem. Anyway, I tried loading a save file inside a small interior cell away from anything that might be affected by the change in mods. When the load screen came up the random spinning object that normally features along with the game tips was blacked out, then it all crashed to desktop. I tried a few more times with other save files and even tried starting a new game but it was the same deal every time; spinning phantom game models and then another crash. Things I've already tried with no change or success: -Updated Game-Updated F4SE-Updated all mods-Updated NMM-Updated graphics drivers-Verified game cache-Deleted/Re-downloaded .ini files-Disabled/Re-enabled mods one by one I'm looking for any kind of solution that preferably doesn't lead to a complete re-install of the game (it's my birthday today and I'd much rather be playing while eating cake, instead of setting everything up again) Thanks in advance :smile: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
