Jeoshua
Skyrim's map is even smaller than New Vegas. It's "mountains" are about 300 meters high. I've pointed this all out before, I can't believe you're still talking about it/trolling people.

Jeoshua
I don't have your "ideal". It's a cool idea. It just happens to be impossible on this engine. No no. Don't come up with a reason why it's not impossible. Because it is, unfortunately, completely and totally impossible to make a worldspace much bigger than 16 km x 16 km scale in the Gamebryo engine. Period. Don't hate the idea. Don't hate you. But it IS completely impossible.

greenknightfury
It could be done conceivably...you'd just have to face immersion smashing loadscreens as you went from one worldmap sized area to another, basically instead of "You can't travel any further in this direction" you'd get a popup like for the DLCs with "stay in (whatever you called that worldspace) or journey/travel to (whatever you named the other worldspace)" but yeah...you'd be creating entire worldmaps to do it and that would be an insanely large lifetime project for a large team as it stands now.
