lvhoang
Hi Guys,So I have a very small HDD of 128 gb where I have Windows 10 OS and fallout 4 only. This is my C:/ FolderIt looks like this:C:/Games/fallout 4 (game folder)C:/Games/Nexus Mod Manager/.../nmmLinkI have D:/ which is a 1 TB hdd (quite slow 5400 rpm) where I install NMM and all where I download all the mods.So I have enabled multiple drives / virtual folder and run NMM in administrator mod.Installing mods from NExus Mod Manager in D:/, I realise the mods are placed in 2 folders in C:/They are placed in my fallout 4/data folder (which is normal) but the same content is also replicated into NMMLink folder (same drive but outside of fallout 4 folder).Reading some old forum topics from 2015, some people say the files placed in fallout 4/data folder are in fact "fake", they merely redirect to NMMLink where the content is. Is there any bad consequence If I just cut all files from NMMLinks and paste directly into fallout/4data folder? Or betetr yet, Just copy from NMMLinks and pasting into Fallout4/Data folder? Many thanks if you can help a newbie :smile:PS: I am asking this for backup reasons - Iâd like to know which files are needed and not so I can transfer the whole thing to another computer.
