Nvamp Suggestions.

Today marks a first for me. I finally managed to install enough mods to decimate my fallout new vegas game. And So i'm having to start over with a clean install.

Now a few days ago I stumbled across http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=40130 which is passing itself off as the FCOM of New Vegas, a way to install some very commonly used mods without losing any of the vanilla game's stability. And that is a very useful thing indeed as far as i'm concerned. However as i'm not familiar with the set up I was wondering if anybody could suggest a list of mods that work really well with Nvamp's set up. I'm looking for a complete change in the game, New items in every part of the level list, complete changes to factions in game, New creatures and new quests.

Anybody have some mods they'd like to reccomend?

Do not install nVamp. It uses old versions of mods that are no longer available and was created for an old version of the game previous to the patch that broke older mods and required them to be updated.

If you want to change things up, install Project Nevada or FOOK (or both, as they do not conflict).

I Think i'll just go with Gopher's step by step videos instead, as he's updated his videos. Thanks for the heads up. Though if it's no longer viable shouldn't it be taken off of the top 100 list?

nVamp was kinda the most epic thing about FO:NV

There are dozens or even hundreds of great mods for this game but the compatibility is kinda hard to achieve.

Many values are overwritten (don't know if this is correct English :P) by the next mod in the LO.

See my funny thread: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/493960-best-way-to-make-many-mods-compatiblemerge-them/page__p__4034923#entry4034923

So some kind of stable framework like nVamp would have been very nica.

Or at least some kind of Bash Tag advices, because if it comes to merging several mods (especially Project Nevada and FOOK) there is no way besides Wrye Bash :(
