Reg0lith
I play on a 21:9 screen and have my FOV set to 100.So whenever I right click to zoom in, it zooms all the way until the FOV is 50, which is a bit immersion-breaking.I'd rather have the ADS (unarmed) zoom be something like 90, but I can't find the settings for it in any of the .ini files. dubiousintent
Don't know quite what you mean by "ADS" (VATS, perhaps?), but FOV is complicated; and a lot depends upon whether you are in "1st Person View" (FPV) or "3rd Person View" (TPV). Please see the 'Issue: Aiming - ... ' entries in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-
lolypopy2
You're probably looking for this modhttps://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55085/It says it has a Weapon FOV scale slider which is what I think is what you're looking for. Also I can't believe you've never heard of Aim Down Sights (ADS) before, dubiousintent. dubiousintent
Ah! Acronyms tend to be "context sensitive". Which is why "best practice" is to spell them out the first time they are used: e.g. "Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System" (VATS). The term "aim down sights" (ADS) comes from (it is my understanding) "first person shooter" (FPS) games, and in Fallout games is known as "Iron Sights" in the Fallout options menu. There is also "True Iron Sights" which was mod added to "Fallout 3" (FO3) for more accuracy as the original version did not align projectiles with the sights. The FNV option is already "True Iron Sights". I don't (as a general rule) play FPS games, or really any game that is "on rails": where the player is driven by the game mechanics from point A to point Z with little deviation. In fact I play very few games. tending to stick with ones that can be modded for years at a time. I seldom even play one to "conclusion". For me, the fun of the journey is all; the ending ... not so much. So my exposure to a lot of terminology avid game players take for granted is limited. I actually spend much more time with mods and on the forums than in the game. A "specialist": fair amount of depth, but low on breadth. -Dubious- Edited January 26, 2018 by dubiousintent
