Alakan
So after patch 1.5.26 I noticed that the iPresentInterval=1 parameter is now in SkyrimPrefs.ini. Normally this item was not available in either Skyrim.ini or SkyrimPrefs.ini The Nvidia guide recommends adding it to Skyrim.ini to change the settings for Skyrim's Vsync. But now that the new patch seems to have included one in SkyrimPrefs.ini I was wondering if I can go ahead and delete iPresentInterval from Skyrim.ini and just use the new one instead. Rennn
That was always in the Skyrimprefs.ini for me.
Staind716
That has been in the game since it's release. Don't know how you missed it.
KMA
Yep, turn it on and all loose objects act as if a poltergeist is in the house. ;)
Alakan
Really? Im a pretty Obsessive Compulsive person. I'm not sure how I could have missed that. So I still need to put iPresentInterval=0 in Skyrim.ini if I want to disable Vsync then?
Rennn
Or you can set your driver to 'force off' vertical sync.I find that Skyrim is generally unresponsive to forced graphics, however, as I can't seem to force AA no matter what I try. It would be most reliable to set it to 0.
