Here is something I really want to do every time I enter the world map, but it's not featured:Drastically reduce the camera movement speed by holding SHIFT. I love the world map, it is beautiful to look at. But if you look at the static map, all detail concerning hills, mountains and so forth is lost, because it's not really 3d, obviously. Only while moving the camera you get an idea about the terrain. You can move the camera of course, but just for the sake of atmosphere, it is moving too fast. Hence, I'd like to slow it down, just enough so that the movement shows. It's like back in Homeworld, the RTS in space. There you had to constantly move the camera too in order to get an idea about what ships are in the back of your fov. I searched for this but nobody else seems to care about it...
