tinghshi
I was a making a restoration overhaul mod and was going to test and upload to nexus, but i came across this weird problem. I accidentally had a second master file other than skyrim.esm checked when i made the mod, so now the mod will not work without that other .esm even though it doesn't use any part of that esm. And since the mod relies on that .esm to work, I can't really upload to nexus. Are there any ways to fix this problem? Also another small problem I have is with the spell level (novice, adept, etc.) of some new spells i made. I can't seem to change the spell level of some spell i duplicated from an old spell even after I change the casting perk. For example i made a duplicate of an expert level spell, set the new spell casting perk to adept, but it will still show up in game as an expert spell but is govern by the adept perk. Any idea how to fix this?
scrivener07
Highlight your mod in the creationkit data window. On the right side of that window where it says Parent Masters highlight the master you want to remove and press the delete key. Now load or REload(if you already had it loaded) your plugin and save it. edit: Not sure about the second part. I havent done much with spells

QaxeIsKaze
This only works for me when I hold down the CTRL key first and then highlight & hit delete.
Xander9009
I think I found the issue with spell level. The magic effect for each of the Expert level Restoration spells uses at least one magical effect with a specified minimum Restoration level of 75. When I switched to using a lesser effect on the turn undead, it lowered the Spell's effect. So, I tried it, and when I lowered the minimum Restoration requirement for the effect CircleOfProtectionFFSelf, Circle of Protection successfully lowered to being Adept (I'd already changed the associated perk). I would seem a spell checks itself and each of its effects to find the highest specified level requirement/perk and uses that. Hope it helps. eLucifer
For me Delete or Ctrl+Delete doesn't work! What else would?
Xander9009
For me Delete or Ctrl+Delete doesn't work! What else would?Use TES5Edit. Open your esp with it, remove any records that are from the master (if it was simply loaded and not used, then there aren't any, so you can skip this step). Right click on the header for your mod and choose Clean Masters.
