Damage scales Power

I was just watching several vids on youtube showing some high power weapons and it got me thinking about this. Why should a death by a lvl 10 1h sword look the same (minus kill animations) as a death by lvl 100 legendary Daedric Warhammer with all the 2h fortifications in armor? Or the knockback of a longbow matching the knockback of a daedric bow? All we ever get is another crumpled ragdoll on the terrain. I would like to see a mod that links a weapon's base physical damage to the force of its blow. In my head, it looks something like this (minus certain death animations):

 

Weapon knockback per 50 dmg = extra meter knockback x #

  • Dagger = .25
  • 1h Sword = .5
  • 1h Axe = .75
  • Bow = 1
  • 1h Mace = 1.25
  • 2h Sword = 1.5
  • 2h Axe = 1.75
  • 2h Hammer = 2

 

Granted, I'm not a modder so I don't know how this would happen or how hard it would be to make this happen, but please someone make it happen! No longer would you have to worry about taking Lydia to the top of a mountain to make her fly away. Imagine playing golf with mudcrabs, or returning the favor to those giants that sent you to the moon!
