yollohallo
Hey, been playing and modding skyrim for quite some time and was, most of the time, always able to fix problems myself or with a lil bit of research but now im completely clueless.Whenever i try to start skse64 for skyrimSE, the cmd opens and after that skse crashes.Ive tried reinstalling skse, different versions of skse (im always on the newest skyrimse version), i deinstalled all mods, skyrim itself as well, moved the path of the game to different places, but nothing helped so far.Since i cant upload gifs/videos, here is the gyazo link:https://i.gyazo.com/9edf7804fa8ab4fa281eefcb3d61c743.gifExcuse my english btw, im german ^^.Best regards, Chris. IFailAtLife
I'm having this exact same problem. My game won't launch at all either through se loader or skyrim se.exe. I've tried verifying integrity of main files, run as admin, and even tried using an older skyrimse version... Nothing is working. TESV or (sseedit) didn't have anything to say about my load order either even with my 10 mods enabled.
yollohallo
Ive been testing different things and it seems like, somehow, windows defender was the problem. IFailAtLife, try disabling windefender and test it again. Edited January 28, 2018 by yollohallo
Algabar
Ive been testing different things and it seems like, somehow, windows defender was the problem. IFailAtLife, try disabling windefender and test it again. I wouldn't recommend turning off Windows Defender entirely. It's there for a reason. You can however create rules and exceptions, basically telling Windows Defender to ignore some programs you consider safe.
yollohallo
Yes, sure.I didnt mean to turn off Windows Defender permanently, was just wondering if disabling it would fix IFailAtLife´s problem as well. But ty anyways ^^.
Zelidar
Has anyone had any luck with this issue? I was having no problems until one day i started up Skyrim SE and it crashed after the command prompt. Sometimes I got an incorrect version message at first. I tried every version of SKSE I could and made sure Skyrim was fully uptodate but nothing has worked.
