Sefirosu200x
I downloaded one I love, this OneHUD mod. It's really neat and I love having all this stuff on my screen (I hate sparse HUDs that only have one or two things, or HUDs that go away after a few seconds). But, I've seen pictures where people have more stuff than I do on their version of it, and also some of the meters and stuff look different. Are there, say, "skins" for it, or some way to make it look different? I'd like it to look kind of more computer-esque because I like to imagine my character is a Terminator or some sort of robot (which is why I like a really cluttered HUD). Maybe some varying colors instead of it all being the same? Just anything, really, that'll be compatible.
Sefirosu200x
Also, another slightly unrelated question is that I downloaded that Readius mod for the Pip-Boy and whenever I open it, the Readius is zoomed way too far in. It covers the whole screen, and I cannot see my hand or anything nor the edges of the device, and a lot of words are cut off.
jefe131
Not sure about the hud, but the readius should have an inventory item that displays the options. One of them should be the size.

Well, to answer the first question, OHUD doesn't actually give your hud any new features, it just allows you to customize the layout of your hud and hide it. There's a good number of mods out there that add hud icons and functionalities, But in order to get them to work you need the http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=38961 on an individual level they will work without this mod, but when you try and combine them the features overlap and cause the game to crash. And generally anything listed on the Uhud project page will add new hud icons to your game. The trick is that you have to deactivate Gopher's OHUD and Unified hud project before adding them, then reactivate them In the order of OHUD and UHUD. Your second question, there's a function related to the pipboy readius within the aid section of your pipboy screen that allows you to adjust the size of the readius. It comes in various sizes and you can find one that suits your needs. Edited April 5, 2012 by formalrevya

And, if you have any links to any really cool HUD mods that'd be nice. I kind of wish I could make my own, but I wouldn't even know where to start. I mean, making the image files would be half the battle, but I don't know where they'd have to go, what form they'd have to be in, or anything to make it work. And I didn't know that about the Readius. I guess I should enable it, boot it up, and see what the deal is.
Sefirosu200x
Okay, now I got the Readius sized down but the default version is ugly. I tried to download some modded versions, which say to just copy the texture folder into the data folder like any other old mod, but I do that and nothing happens. I don't get an option or anything.
