Skyrim SE wont Load with multiple adoption mod

Hi

 

I Have Skyrim SE and only have the "Multiple Adoption" mod installed with no other mods, however when the mod is installed the game wont start up at all and if i delete the mod the game runs

If so , near the bottom of the description there is an FAQ section , see if it has an answer for you

Hi, yes that is the correct mod, have checked forums beneath the mod description but unfortunately no mention on this issue.

have you tried installing any other mod , and seeing if you can run the game?

I'm trying to figure out if it's related to your game in general , or just this mod

have you set up your game for modding properly? are you installing this properly? which mod manager do you use?

I'm guessing you have the English version of the game? (the FAQ mentions crashing due to the game being in a different language , so just checking)

For testing purposes i installed the "Adopt Aventius Arteno" mod and game ran normally.

I am using the NNM for installing the mods, correct using the English Version of the Game.

Seems is related to this specific mod

Ok , so your issue is related to the specific mod . It's progress :)

 

when you tried running the game with that mod , what has happened? has the game just crashed on startup? has it crashed when trying to load a save or start a new game?

the mod doesn't seem to have any requirements , so I can't quite think of what went wrong..... but maybe if you explain what happens when you try using the mod , we can find your solution

When i run the launcher the Besethda launcher appears, but when you click play nothing happens and game closes

why on earth are you running anything through the launcher?

If you don't use SKSE64 , you should have NMM run the Skyrim executable (the game , not the launcher)

and if you do use SKSE64 , you should have NMM start it instead

but you aren't supposed to use the launcher after the first time (which is used for setting up the game's graphical settings)

 

or perhaps I misunderstood you

what do you mean by the Bethesda Launcher? the one from which you can load the Creation Kit or Fallout Shelter? the Bethesda.net launcher?

Have tried using the NMM launcher to run game but all have had same result, click launch and nothing happens

just to be sure here , have you tried installing the SE version of the mod (the one I linked) , rather than the Legendary Edition version?

because there is a separate Nexus page for Special Edition . the reason I ask this is because someone has reported a similar issue like yours , when he tried installing the SE version into a LE game

so it may be a silly question , but it's best to be certain

 

If this is not the issue , I would recommend posting your problem on the comment section of the mod

the mod author seems to be rather active , and I really don't know what could be wrong here......
