Cyclingwharf
I wish to install all the mods for Skyrim, for I'm looking forward in playing the game. Thank you.
David Brasher
Unfortunately, there is a mod limit. The game will only allow you to have a certain number of mods, and then no more can be installed. So you will not be able to install all the existing Skyrim mods at one time. Many mods also conflict. Like it would not make much sense to install a mod that makes the dragons tougher and scarier, and a mod that makes dragons weaker and less dangerous. So you kind of have to choose which mods you like best and just install those.
bben46
ALL the mods? They are being created faster than you can install them! Also, trying to install a bunch of mods all at once - without testing between each one - is a sure recipe for disaster. Not every mod works with every other mod, and some mods were never really intended to work with certain other mods. - For example only ONE body mod is allowed. Only ONE user interface, and a lot of other categories will be the same. And as David said, there is a limit - the 'hard' limit is 256 mods. But there are 'soft' limits that may limit you well before that - for example - not enough ram to hold all of the installed mods. Instead, pick a few that do not try to change the same thing. Install those and try them. Then, add mods that you think will enhance your game one at a time - testing each one to be sure it doesn't cause problems.
