NemoTuNovi
So I'm trying to make a custom enchantment mod that uses a fairly simple script. Now, the script itself is irrelevant because whenever I try to add a script, I get this pop-up: https://imgur.com/PQCyIGM (wanted to add an image, but nexus forums isn't letting me do that for some reason?) and for those who don't want to click the link, the pop-up is "the extends script does not exist, please pick one that does" So i have no idea what that means, so i google it The top result is "Oh, there's a .rar that you have in your data folder. Move that to skyrim>data>scripts and extract the folder to there and that should fix it" So I moved and extracted the folder as instructed, and that did nothing. I have reinstalled creation kit. I have restarted my computer. There are no alternate fixes on the first page of google search. Has anyone dealt with this problem before and have a fix to it? DarkRudra
The top result is "Oh, there's a .rar that you have in your data folder. Move that to skyrim>data>scripts and extract the folder to there and that should fix it" Based on that, I think you might have the script source files in the wrong location after extracting that Scripts.rar file. Once it's extracted, you should have, among others, a file located at Skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\ActiveMagicEffect.psc. That's the file the CK is looking for in your screenshot. I think you might have something like Skyrim\Data\Scripts\Scripts\Source\ActiveMagicEffect.psc, depending on how you're extracting the file.
