Request: Random Trap Encounters

There are plenty of mods that add random enemy encounters, which are nice, but there is no mod that adds random trap encounters. NW had mod called Random Extra Traps, and that was nice idea.

Why it would be a great mod?

Most players know every nook and cranny of FO4 as they have hundreds, maybe thousands, of hours or multiple playthroughs on their backs. Entering the same dungeon for twenty-first time becomes boring, as you know where every mine or bear trap is placed. So a mod which can place random additional traps all around map via script would spice up life for new and veteran players alike.

How it could work?
When player enters cell/dungeon script spawns random traps. Traps are placed in random spots making it harder to get from beginning to the end of location, therefore making every step less predictable.

Traps could be encountered not only underground but also above, for example on rooftops etc., they could be as extra security layer for raider/supermutant bases, or be just that one random mine lying on empty road placed but long forgotten.

Traps would vary starting from easiest as bear traps and to hardest, for example turrets.

It would be possible to configure amount, difficulty and respawn time of random traps in MCM menu. There could also be option to exclude specific locations that are dangerous enough.

 

What do you guys think? Is it possible to make such mod? What are the dificulties of making it?
