SamusAranX
Right, so here's a rough timeline of things I did:Noticed that Fallout 4 was still installed, along with NMM and a bunch of mods from mid last yearDecided to update a bunch of mods, which broke everythingSpent hours trying to debug the terribad mess that is NMMGave up and completely deleted everything F4- and mod-relatedReinstalled F4 from scratch, then re-installed NMM and F4SEDownloaded all mods againNow I'm stuck with a bugged(?) list of mods and a BodySlide that just won't start. Here's my list of mods: https://i.imgur.com/7pN9pTU.pngThe greyed-out ones are meant to not be installed yet, but all the others are supposed to be installed and enabled. If I manually enable all the disabled mods, NMM will silently not enable them and display them as disabled again when I restart it.Starting F4 (or F4SE, for that matter) from NMM shows that the mods are indeed not enabled.I can easily see this by F4's inane "Achievements are disabled" message even though the achievement enabling mod is supposed to be loaded. How do I get NMM to actually enable these mods? Now, on to BodySlide:Opening it either from Fallout 4's Steam folder or NMM shows the infamous "Failed to load Setup.xrc file!" error message. There's seemingly nothing I can do about it either. Copying all files from the mod archive to BodySlide's folder results in it opening, but in an unusable state with empty dropdown lists. As you can see from my mod list, CBBE is installed, so what gives? I tried switching to Mod Organizer 2 before reinstalling F4, but it's buggy as all hell and the project seems to be even deader than NMM, so that went about as well as you can imagine. Help would be greatly appreciated. Edited January 29, 2018 by SamusAranX
SamusAranX
So, uh... Does this mean that no one has ever encountered this problem or does everyone just go "welp, no mods for me, I guess" when getting this error? VacuousSilas
Did you manage to find a solution?I'm having the same problem with my own game. After I moved Fallout 4 to a different hard drive, things have gone to s#*!. I'm seeing the same message "Failed to load Setup.xrc file" when loading bodyslide menu and also my F4SE keeps disabling itself in my NMM. Now I can't use any of my mods.If you managed to find something then please let me know.
