I want to inform you (users and fellow authors) that it has come to my attention that somebody is posting stolen mods on https://www.doityourselfnation.org . Case in point, our creation "H.A.R.D.Core - Fusion Generator Overhaul" that we published to the Nexus (and ONLY to the Nexus) in early January. Today we found the same file (it was literally copied off the Nexus) hosted at https://www.doityourselfnation.org/file/h-a-r-d-core-fusion-generator-overhaul-fallout-4/ THAT FILE WAS NOT UPLOADED BY US AND IS PIRATED. INCLUDING OUR HEADER IMAGE. DIYN also accepts donation for that pirated file while we disabled all donation features on the Nexus on purpose. We don't want money, but we also don't want others to make money off our work. While further investigating, we found that DIYN user https://www.doityourselfnation.org/user/monsterhunter32 seems to just dump all new files (or most of them) for FO4 and SSE onto DIYN to collect donations. We also found community mainstays like Armorsmith Extended among the affected mods. It was a patch for AE, not AE itself. There's probably much more. I'm honestly too disgusted to dig further at this point. Authors who are affected should contact DIYN as soon as possible. lubronbrons Posted January 30, 2018 Share Posted January 30, 2018 I'm just a small time modder from TES 4but this ... kind of a downer,,,I thought that FO 4 or TES 5 is a good place to gather fortune, polling donation from people that appreciate modder's work... but...after I read this, I believe there is hundreds, or maybe thousands, or maybe MORE !! outlaw user like this monsterhunter32it could hurt modder esteem so much & break the creative mind (hatred effect --> heart burning out -- head evil out )well...how could modder enjoy such battlefield ? the hunt & search for piracy will be frequent and disturbingI think...I will stay and continue modding TES 4, it is much more peaceful there :) and passionate~ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The start page is full of spelling errors: "No Lmit", "Share Book's", etc. And in general, the whole thing looks the opposite of reputable. "A website that combines YouTube, Facebook, Amazon,and More Into One.", "Keep more of your money than selling on Amazon.". Yeah, right... I'd say, anyone who downloads there deserves the viruses, but I just downloaded that fusion generator mod and was surprised that there isn't any .exe file in there.
