[LE] First Follower Creation - Need Advice

Recommended Posts

Howdy! Well, I finally created my very first follower in the CK yesterday. I am pretty much happy with the way she turned out, and I was able to manipulate her to my liking, except for one thing I can't figure out. I can't give her any lip color at all. I tried default and custom lip color shades but the natural lip color won't change. Any tips for me? I am old so keep it simple please. Also as an afterthought, I was toying with the idea of putting earrings on her. I'm now thinking I would need to create a whole new head, right? Thanks for any help boys & girls.

Do you mean that the lip colors don't change in the game or that they don't change in the CK? If the former, look up the Gray-Face bug here. If the latter, are you sure that the Interpolation Value under the Character Gen Parts tab isn't set to 0?

About earrings: If you're just making the follower for yourself and don't plan on releasing the mod anywhere, you can use HN66's Earring mod (or some other earring mod). Otherwise, you'd either have to have his/her permission or create the earring models on your own (which is a long and tough process to learn).

They are not changing in CK. I have set the interp values a couple of times between 70 and 100, last one being set at 78. It doesn't seem to make a difference at all, and the lip color does not change (lighten or darken) on the head model. I've tried dark red, blue and black. Nothing seems to work.
