Mod/Plugin Management - When does the confusion end?!

As the title reads, it can probably be assumed that organization and placement for your mods can get confusing. This has happened to me, in that, downloading a mod that may or may not conflict with my current mods. I have many many many plugins and mods that enhance my game play to a comfortable level (vanilla is just to boring for my taste, so I amp it up for some flavor!)

With and without the Nexus Mod Manager, (particularly for mods that dont support usage with NMM) what are some ways you guys keep your mods decipherable and clean from other mods when they are sitting in your Data folder?

I use BOSS 2.0 for the main ordering of the mods, but I look over it's results so I can place the unrecognized mods (usually new ones not yet added to the masterlist) in the correct area. Otherwise, the last mod loaded will win any conflicts, so if there is a conflict, put the mod you want most before the other one.

If BOSS adds Relev and Delev tags to some mods, it might be worth getting Wrye Bash to make a Bashed Patch (a merging of some mods) which is another way to resolve conflicts.

I'm currently using about 70 mods without any conflicts or crashing.

Hope this helps, Calen
