sirdrac
Ok, I am guessing this one is probably a simple one but I am lost with it. I added a waterfall inside my custom house mod but can't figure out how to cut it off at the floor and not show through on the bottom floor. Thought maybe setting in some kind of plane marker or something of that sort, but didn't seem to work. I just want it to stop at the floor in the upper area and not show on the bottom floor like it is coming through the ceiling or something. Any help please would be greatly appreciated. David Brasher
An object is as big as the modeler made it. So if you use an object that it too large to fit between the floor and ceiling of a room, it is going to stick through and be visible on other floors. You can scale the object in the CK to be just the right height, but the proportions will be preserved and it may end up being narrower than you had planned. If you are a modeler and are skilled with Blender or another tool, you could create a new waterfall model that is the right size for your application. sirdrac
Ahh good idea. Something as simple as scaling something and I was trying to find another way around it. lol Making something more difficult than I needed to. Scaling it even with the proportions changing as well, I can pair up the object to get my width back. See I knew I was overthinking something as I said before. Thanks again. sirdrac
Ahh, one other thing for anyone who might have an idea, the waterfall doesn't always appear for some reason. Sometimes it is there and sometimes it isn't. In an open space view like looking through a wall, you can see it there even though it isn't.
